Chamber Councils &
Business Resource Councils
Making Your Chamber Membership Work Through
Chamber Council and Business Resource Council Involvement
Since 1959, the Chamber Councils have served as neighborhood extensions of the
Chamber, reaching out to all areas of Duval County. Their primary goal is to provide programs
and activities to promote and improve the business and civic climates of their respective
geographic areas.
Business Resource Councils were created to facilitate communication among Chamber
members of similar interests, demographics or industry types. Each group seeks to serve the
business needs of its participants through information, education, discussion and networking.
Any employee of a company that is a member in good standing of the Jacksonville
Chamber is eligible for Chamber Council and Business Resource Council involvement.
