Community Involvement Committee Charter
The members of this committee agree they will spend up to one hour per month for a committee conference call, or if decided, a face-to-face meeting to discuss current and previous service projects.

Committee Purpose:
The purpose of the South Council's Community Involvement committee is to maintain and spread awareness through-out our South Council area that others are in need. From young children to seniors the South Council wants to create a lasting memory that we are here to help.
Required Components of a South Council Service Project:
- Make a visible difference within the chosen organization.
- Helping multiple people- focusing on seniors and children.
- Within the South Council area.
- The current organizations that we work with will be grandfathered in.
- We are able to donate our time (two to four hours) if wanted. (Not just money)
- New projects are to be presented by Community Involvement committee members and approved by South Council Board of Directors.
- No more than 2 service projects per quarter.
- Each service project will have a liaison head which will work directly with the project and the committee chair to ensure everything is properly planned in advance.
